 The focus of the Lippe-Biesterfeld NatureCollege Foundation (Stichting Lippe-Biesterfeld NatuurCollege) lies at the crossroads where spirituality and nature meet. The first plans were developed in 1999 and the Lippe-Biesterfeld NatureCollege Foundation was officially established two years later.
The NatureCollege wishes to contribute to intensification of the relationship between people and nature, at all levels of consciousness. The NatureCollege also wishes to arrive at greater awareness that all forms of life are interrelated: "We are a part of nature in all its diversity, and our consciousness as human beings gives us extra responsibility to protect and safeguard our natural world. We know that people and nature are a unified entity and we can live in that unity".
The NatureCollege undertakes all kinds of activities in order to achieve its targets, such as the facilitation of courses and retreats, the organisation of projects and the provision of publications. The NatureCollege is also a network for Friends of the NatureCollege, sponsors and anyone else interested.
