“The establishment of TransRep International reflects perfectly our strategy of further internationalizing and vertically expanding our activities,” said Henry Keizer, Chairman of the Executive Board of ‘the Facultatieve Group’. “We have expanded rapidly in Germany in recent years. A growth curve we aim to pursue. With more than 10,000 transport movements each year, Hygeco International, our subsidiary in France, is one of Europe’s major transporters of deceased persons. Moreover, in France, Hygeco carries out more than 70,000 thanatopraxy procedures. Naturally we are keen to apply this knowledge and experience in other countries, and are delighted to have been able to set up TransRep International together with two exceptionally stable partners that are intimately connected with the German funerary business.”
TransRep International has its own fleet of vehicles and is run by highly trained staff. Being IATA registered, TransRep International is in a position to book air cargo space directly with all the major airlines. Transit times encountered when importing deceased persons are minimized due to the company’s close cooperation with Frankfurt airport and German customs.
