Special All Souls’ Day at Moscowa

On Sunday the 2nd of November, Moscowa – part of ‘the Facultatieve Group’ – hosted the annual All Souls’ Day service. Once again this special ceremony was very well attended. Several hundred visitors came to Moscowa to commemorate and to share their experiences with others. They were also given the opportunity to light a candle in memory of a loved one. After the ceremony, there was occasion to stay and chat a while over a cup of coffee. Many visitors then went for a wander through the extensive memorial park. All Souls' Day is a feast of the Western Christian Tradition that is celebrated each year on the 2nd of November. It commemorates the deceased and often involves celebrating a Requiem Mass.
