Patrick De Meyer, Vice President for Sales and Marketing of Hygeco International, which forms part of The Faculatieve Group, accompanied by René Deguisne, President of the French Institute for Thanatopraxy, signed the Charter of Respect for Persons in Mourning on 29 October 2009 at the Ministry of Labour, Social Relations, the Family, Solidarity and Cities, in the presence of the Secretary of State, Nadine Morano.
This Charter meets three principles:

To gather the principal companies in the funeral sector to take action on the issue of mourning and the family,

To allow for deontological reflection, to offer families better support and solutions for the difficulties that they encounter,

To show our concern for families affected by mourning.
As signatories, Hygeco International and the French Institute of Thanatopraxy commit themselves to uphold these three principles in their actions and daily undertakings.
