On April 26 a permanent exhibition of modern sculptures was opened in the park of Westerveld Cemetery & Crematorium. 28 pieces by ten Dutch artists and one Japanese artist can be seen under the name ‘Art in Memoriam’.
Leo van Eijk, manager of Westerveld, says that because of the withdrawal of rituals people tend to look for other forms of remembrance. “This exhibition shows that illustrative art could contribute to this development”. Choose your video: broadband / modem
