Salon Funéraire – an unmissable event for the industry – welcomed visitors between 19 and 21 November 2009 at the Parc des Expositions in Le Bourget, France. As one of the main players in the funeral industry, ‘The Facultatieve’ Group took part in the Salon through its various subsidiaries(Hygeco International, Facultatieve Technologies, Facultatieve Assurances, Raffault SHF). It presented its range of products and services, as well as a photographic exhibition on different aspects of death.
Hygeco International
The Salon allowed Hygeco International to present its entire Post Mortem range (cold rooms specially designed according to the needs of clients, presentation and preparation trolleys, laboratory equipment, etc.). The exhibition was also a chance to display our urns and cremation monuments against the backdrop of a genuine garden of more than 80 m². Our Post Mortem Assistance activities were also represented by our rapid intervention tent, specially kitted out with several presentations. Visitors were informed about services offered by Hygeco Post Mortem Assistance (thanatopraxy, transport of the deceased and repatriation, disinfection, etc.), which stand out thanks to their quality and guaranteed 24/7 availability, both in France and internationally.
Facultatieve Technologies
In addition to the presentation of High Speed Cremulator and Ash Transfer unit at the Facultatieve Technologies stand, two other products were particularly well received during the Salon: the FT III cremation oven (appreciated for its environmentally friendly features, its ability to handle even very large coffins and its compactness) and the filtration system developed recently to meet new environmental standards, offering a decisive solution to problems arising from the release of dust, mercury and dioxins.
