On 25 September, Niederrhein Willich Crematorium – part of ‘the Facultatieve Group’ – organized a very successful Open Day. There were around 1800 visitors during the course of the day and they had the opportunity to investigate all the options available at this Crematorium.
The Open Day took place between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. and detailed tours were provided. Visitors were able view nearly all the rooms – from the visiting rooms to the auditoriums and the cremation area. They were also treated to coffee and cake in the post-ceremony meeting areas. Reactions were very enthusiastic, especially regarding the many options for ceremonies – as it is not common in Germany to hold a ceremony at a crematorium. Niederrhein Willich Crematorium has a monumental and stylish character and is extremely well-suited as a location for both intimate and larger ceremonies.
With the personal wishes of the deceased and the bereaved forming the core principle, anything is possible for and during a ceremony at Niederrhein Willich Crematorium – within the bounds of the law, naturally. In consultation with the funeral service provider, we always strive to ensure a dignified, reverential and personal farewell. Cremation itself generally takes place within 24 hours of us receiving permission to cremate. The ashes therefore are available very quickly.
