New on the French market: Facultatieve Assurances

The introduction of Facultatieve Assurances took place at the Funexpo Convention in Lyon (17 to 19 November 2006). Facultatieve Assurances might be a newcomer to the field of funeral insurances in the French market, but ‘the Facultatieve Group’ – of which Facultatieve Assurances is a member - isn’t a newcomer at all. After all, ‘the Facultatieve Group’ already has decades of experience in France with Facultatieve Technologies and, as from 1 January 2007, Hygeco – one of the largest suppliers for the French funeral industry – also joins ‘the Facultatieve Group’. Facultatieve Assurances is an independent funeral insurer. This means that the consumer himself determines which undertaker will arrange the funeral. Facultatieve Assurances is a member of ‘the Facultatieve Group’. The Group has been active as an insurer for almost one hundred years and has become one of the most important insurers in The Netherlands.
