‘Moscowa is a very special park for the people of Arnhem, because it is like an extension of your own back garden. That’s how much the park is a part of Arnhem.’ This is what the Arnhemmer Jan Brugman says in his report on the Moscowa Cemetery & Crematorium, which can be seen on the new online TV channel www.uitvaart.tv as from this week. This is how he characterises Moscowa – part of ‘the Facultatieve Group’ – in the same way that many Arnhemmers genuinely think of Moscowa.
