On 22 March, 2010, Memmingen Crematorium – part of 'the Facultatieve Group' – donated a sum of 24,500 euros to various projects in Memmingen which are involved in youthwork, culture and education. Under the watchful eye of Mayor Ivo Holzinger and Councillor Jürgen Hindemit, Henry Keizer – President of the Executive Board of ‘the Facultatieve Group’ – presented € 12,500 to the Memminger Kindergärten, € 8,000 for Mittagsbetreuung Memminger Schulen and € 4,000 to Memminger Kultur.
“Since it opened in 2006, Memmingen Crematorium has played an important role for many people in and around Memmingen”, says Henry Keizer. “With that involvement in mind, and motivated by our sense of social responsibility, it therefore gives us great pleasure to contribute to these worthy projects for the young people of Memmingen.”
Memmingen Crematorium opened its doors at Waldfriedhofstraße 4a in October 2006, and is part of 'the Facultatieve Group'. Due to the many years of experience of ‘the Facultatieve Group’, Memmingen Crematorium has immediate access access to a vast pool of accumulated expertise to ensure that its cremation ceremonies are carried out in an appropriate and dignified way. The key principle is always to offer the highest standards of service with a personal touch. We are after all dealing with the wishes of the deceased and the bereaved.
