Jan M. Sepers, Chairman of the Royal Dutch Cremation Society ‘the Facultatieve’, deceased

Jan M. Sepers (Johannes Matthijs Sepers) died in his home in The Hague in the morning of 10th April.
Mr. Sepers was involved with the activities of the Royal Dutch Cremation Society ‘the Facultatieve’ for a long period of time. In 1992 he was part of the Council of Members. Before that he was already representative in the Southwest district. Furthermore he played an important part in various committees and workgroups of the Society. In 1998 Jan M. Sepers was elected Chairman and in 2001 he was appointed member of the Supervisory Board of ‘the Facultatieve Group’.
Henry J. Keizer, chairman of the Executive Board of ‘the Facultatieve Group’: “Today we lose some one who really stood for one of the most important principles of ‘the Facultatieve’, the right to freedom of choice. Jan M. Sepers was a very capable and involved chairman, who showed interest in a warm manner, especially in the direction of the employees. We will miss him, as chairman and as a friend.”
