DELA Uitvaartverzorging BV (funeral services provider) signed an outline agreement with Facultatieve Technologies on Thursday 4 October 2007 relating to its crematoria. This will involve the installation of Facultatieve Technologies’ equipment both in their current and also in any future new crematoria. The contract includes all the necessary equipment such as the cremators themselves, filters, ash processors and insertion systems, as well as for servicing and maintenance.
Satisfying strict environmental demands
With its crematorium in Geleen, DELA is a pioneer in the Netherlands with regard to meeting environmental requirements. Already in 2003, long before any legal obligations had come into force, a Facultatieve Technologies filter system was installed and is in use. In the near future the crematorium in Vlijmen will start with installing a Twin-stream Filter. This is a single filter system for two cremators. Thereafter, the crematoria at both Helmond and Heeze will be equipped with the same filter system. Naturally, the equipment manufactured by Facultatieve Technolgies complies fully with strict environmental demands.
