Attend service in Dieren Crematorium via internet
|
|
Dieren Crematorium is the first crematorium in eastern Netherlands to offer the option of following a ceremony directly on the internet or to order a film of the service.
Directly via the internet
“Sadly it is sometimes the case that people who would love to attend a service personally are unable to do so”, said Leo van Eijk, director of Dieren Crematorium. “For instance, family members who live abroad, are ill or are restricted in their mobility. We are delighted to announce that we are now able to prevent what is often such a painful situation for the bereaved. People can attend the ceremony at www.uitvaartbijwonen.nl, giving them an impression that they are in actual fact present themselves. Privacy and discretion are guaranteed; the family receives a unique and personal login code.”
Film on DVD
“The quality is excellent,” said Leo van Eijk “We work with various discretely located cameras, so that the ceremony can be recorded dynamically like a film – from different angles and with remote. This also allows the option of providing the bereaved with a unique and cherished memory on DVD. After all, our experience suggests that (close) family often struggle to remember such key events due to their grief on the day. There may be significant emotional comfort to be had by those concerned if they were able to watch a DVD of the service at a later date.”
Dieren Crematorium is a member of ‘the Facultatieve Group’. For further information: www.crematoriumdieren.nl
