Inauguration of new Facultatieve Technologies facilities at the crematorium of the Cemetery of Montjuïc.

On 14 June 2010, the crematorium of the Cemetery of Montjuïc inaugurated new equipment, designed and installed by Facultatieve Technologies, which is a member of ‘the Facultatieve Group’. The inauguration took place in the presence of Messrs Jordi William Carnes, deputy mayor of Barcelona, Jordi Valmaña, director-general of the Cemeteries of Barcelona and Patrick De Meyer, Vice-President of Facultatieve Technologies.

'The Facultatieve Group' continues to grow in 2009

| With increased turnover of more than16% and an improved result, 'the Facultatieve Group' showed strong growth once again in 2009. Sales increased by more than 11 million euros to around 80 million euros, and profits after taxes grew to 2.2 million euros.

Inspiring Concerto in Memoriam
|
“It’s just fantastic that so many of you have come despite the inclement weather.” So began Leo Fijen – the well-known Dutch television personality – in his Word of Comfort during the annual Concerto in Memoriam held in the Westerveld memorial park, on 6 June. Every year, thousands of people (around 3,500 this time) attend the now traditional Concerto in Memoriam, which was organized for the first time in 1994.
